dashingdiverdaley: I’m sorry to say that I don’t love Tom for his looks. Don’t get me wrong he’s absolutely gorgeous and has a flawless body, but that’s not why I love him. I love Tom because he’s the most inspiring person I’ve ever known. He is so incredibly hard working and so dedicated to his passion for diving, always giving it 110% in every training and every competition. His smile brights up the entire room and his personality is absolutely amazing, so sincere, so motivated and so strong. Coping with his dad’s death, preparing for his A levels and not to mention training hours upon hours for the Olympics is something not many people are capable of dealing with. Achieving A’s and A*’s in his grades and countless medals in competitions just shows the amount of effort he puts into what he loves. London 2012 is coming to an end and Tom Daley has walked away with an extremely well deserved Bronze Medal, diving better and better in every round. A lifetime of blood sweat and tears have finally paid off and his dreams have come true, and will continue to come true as he grows into a young man and a spectacular diver. He’s made his country proud, his family and father proud and most of all he’s made me proud to have known him. So thank you Tom for being the amazing person you are, don’t ever stop what you’re doing. You inspire me to work hard to achieve my dreams. I love you Tom Daley.
